In November of 2018 we were able to part of B 95.5s event when they switch their radio station to Christmas music all day every day during the holiday season. This switch over happened by some recipients of Wishes from Make A Wish North Eastern New York. It was a fabulous night celebrating these children and their family and letting the Christmas music season officially kick off.
The event was in Crossgates mall in Albany, NY. We brought and decorated a 12′ artificial Christmas tree, hung decorative C9 lights, artificial smaller Christmas trees and other Christmas decorations with blue and white lights, which are the colors of the Make A Wish logo. We were able to set all the decorations onto a switch so when the children flipped the switch not only did the radio station start playing Christmas music but the entire hallway in Crossgates mall lit up with Christmas lights and decorations with the oohs and ahhs from the crowds.
